As a follow up to Good Memories, Balin – who is known as “The King of Love Songs” – will release The Greatest Love, a new album of original material. “It’s my message of love to my fans,” says Marty. The album will be released February 16, 2016 in conjunction with Valentine’s Day.

“Michelangelo claimed that he did not create a sculpture. Rather, the form was contained within the block of marble; he merely removed the excess, revealing the work of art,” stated Balin. “I feel the same way about music, and about all the projects I’m involved in. The projects do themselves; the music comes through me.”

Balin’s distinctive voice, style, and memorable songs include Billboard top chart hits “Miracles,” “Hearts,” “Atlanta Lady,” “Count On Me,” and “Runaway,” as well as many album, radio, film, and television soundtrack classics, such as “Comin’ Back to Me,” “Today,” and “Volunteers.” From his classic hits with Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship, to new songs from recent albums and current studio sessions, a variety of Marty’s musical styles are represented in each live performance.

In addition to music, Marty has also enjoyed painting. His works can be found at his gallery in Saint Augustine, Florida, and at galleries throughout the United States.
